Welcome to 2016 - 2017 GPTM Season
We celebrated Tamizh Puthandu at Chittirai Saaral – an evening filled with beautiful music. A big thanks to everyone who spent the evening with us on April 29th to make CS17 a huge success! Thanks to the Geetanjali Band from Seattle, Harish Raghavendra, Sumangali, Arjun Adapalli and our local singers for giving us a musical treat.
Some of the major highlights from the event:
- Playback singers Harish Raghavendra, Sumangali and Vijay TV super singer finalist Arjun Adapalli enthralled the audience with their mesmerising voices
- 20 member Geetanjali Orchestra from Seattle filled up the stage and the auditorium with amazing music
- Local super singers Snigdha Malladi, Ashmita Lakshmanan, Harini Ganesh, Bhavani Ganesh & Jagan Srinivasaraghavan sang beautifully alongside Harish Raghavendra and Sumangali
- Tasty snacks & dinner catered by Namaste Indian Cuisine. Mango ice cream dessert to take home sweet memories!
- Last but not the least, grand decorations all around the auditorium with people taking pictures with life size cutouts of Rajnikanth, Kamal Hasan and many more stars
