Mission

To promote social change through providing opportunities for GPTM Youths to give their time and talent to improve their communities and the world.

GPTM is a non-profit, volunteer-driven Tamil community organization dedicated to preserving Tamil culture, promoting community engagement, and supporting families through cultural, educational, and social initiatives.

Our events and programs are made possible by the dedication, passion, and hard work of our volunteers. Together, we strive to build a stronger, more connected Tamil community for current and future generations.

GPTM Volunteer Eligibility

Must be at least five years old
Completes eligible service within a 12-month period (for annual Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards) and over a lifetime (for Lifetime Achievement Awards)
GPTM Registered Member

President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA)

President’s Service Award is an honor (at National level) to the volunteers who are using their time and talents to solve some of the toughest challenges facing our nation (USA) where we are residing now. It is an initiative of the Federal Agency CNCS (Corporation for National and Community Service). This Premier volunteer awards program encouraging volunteers to live a life of service through National Recognition.

Steps to Achieve Presidential Award

Register as GPTM member
Join the GPTM Youth Club and take part in community service through GPTM.
Participate in Community Service through GPTM Youth Club to achieve different levels
Complete at least 20 hours to qualify for the PVSA Award.
